Just finished a new demo cd called Partick Car Lights, made with the help of a new hand altered electric guitar (a guitar made from other guitars!) that I swapped with Adam Cresser. Its red and sounds good and doesn’t feedback much.

New Album

New album Cluny To The Sea is out now on the 18th of August on Distance Recordings netlabel - which means it be free! as mp3 (320kps) or FLAC (lossless) formats.

it was excellently mastered by derek of bates at evil hand studios

I recorded this in a week on holiday in a small village named portessie, one take and straight to mini disc. I was playing alot of gigs at the time and though it would be cool to try have a collection of tunes that reflected what I had been doing live over that time. It has a seafaring theme due to where i was (fishing village, cliffs, beach, big wide open sea) and that most to the tracks are pretty repetitive & remind me of being at sea, which is always fun.

I recorded it using: headrush pedal, a dying zoom 2020 pedal, crap semi acoustic, a digital dictaphone, tapco mixer, and a ebow.
